Previous salaries:

Pay and conditions in State and Church schools are worked on the salary scales as established by the Civil Service collective Agreement. The last collective agreement negotiated by the MUT, together with other Unions representing civil servants, brought a rise of approximately 19% in wages between 2007 and 2010, not counting increments.

The salaries for 2011 and 2012 are still worked on the 2005-2010 Collective Agreement since the new collective agreement is still being negotiated. Thus the salary for 2011 is the salary of 2010 + €1.16 per week (COLA), while the salary of 2012 is the salary of 2010 + €1.16 (per week) + €4.66 (per week).

This table shows scales 15 to 1 and shows the BASIC SALARY. It does NOT include allowances, taxes, bonuses and other payments.

Note that progression from one scale to another is subject to satisfactory performance.
*** Apart from Basic Salary all regular teaching grades benefit from all inclusive allowances and/or other allowances. All inclusive allowances have been revised in October 2010 and will be revised again in October 2012. For further information please contact the Union.
